Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer with expertise in Encompass Loan Origination System (LOS) integration. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in .NET technologies, Encompass SDK, and API development to build and enhance mortgage-related applications. You will work closely with business stakeholders, mortgage operations teams, and software engineers to develop scalable and efficient solutions.


To be successful you will need:

  • · Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications with a focus on Encompass LOS integration.
  • · Develop and optimize Encompass SDK-based plugins, custom input forms, and business rules.
  • · Build and maintain RESTful APIs and web services to integrate Encompass with third-party systems.
  • · Work with Encompass API (Encompass NG API, Web Services, and SDK) for seamless data exchange.
  • · Customize Encompass SmartClient & Business Rules to enhance workflow automation.
  • · Implement database queries and stored procedures (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) for mortgage-related data processing.
  • · Troubleshoot Encompass-related issues and optimize system performance.
  • · Collaborate with Business Analysts and Mortgage Operations teams to understand requirements.
  • · Ensure compliance with FHA, VA, FNMA, FHLMC, CFPB, and TRID regulations in software implementations.
  • · Participate in Agile development, code reviews, and DevOps deployment processes.


Skills

· 7+ years of experience in .NET development (C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC/Web API).

· 2+ years of experience working with Encompass LOS, Encompass SDK, and Encompass API integrations.

· Strong experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework, and LINQ.

· Proficiency in RESTful API development and integration.

· Experience with Windows Services, Web Services, and background processing.

· Knowledge of Azure/AWS cloud services for deployment and integrations.

· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.

· Ability to troubleshoot and resolve Encompass LOS performance and configuration issues.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Additional information

· Experience with MISMO standards and mortgage industry data models.

· Exposure to Robotic Process Automation (RPA) for mortgage workflows.

· Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 authentication, SSO, and security best practices.

· Experience with React, Angular, or Blazor for UI development is a plus.

· Prior experience working with GSEs (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae).
